Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

In accordance with the company's commitment statement, the orientation of the hotel ensures an energy optimisation (northwest) which provides solar heating all day. Waste is segregated into cardboard, cans and glass and all organic waste is used in the creation of organic compost.

The thermal isolation was an objective during the construction, and thermal panels ensure energy savings during the colder months for heating and in the warmer months for cooling. All the furniture has been made by local craftsmen. All wood used in the construction of the hotel has local management plans in its use.
